Interests include family (husband and son), church activities, livestock, gardening, and sustainability. The tea party movement is a recent interest based in an attempt to find logical like minded fiscal conservatives, explore the reality of general media vs alarmist reporting, and determine what it means to be a modern-day Patriot. “In the last year I’ve gone from asking if any of these outlandish sounding reports can really be true to concluding that ‘ America , the Free’ is fast waning. Is there integrity anywhere?” She believes that most behaviors can be explained by the resulting ‘payoffs’ – unfortunately our society, government and business models tend to reward the behaviors we state we are trying to eliminate. Where’s the logic in that!
Board of Directors
Director [2009-2012] and TPTP Founding Member
Keith Kelly was born in upstate New York and graduated high school in Watkins Glen, NY. He spent 13 years as a contract manager for a series of management companies operating in the eastern half of the nation, including stints in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts. In 1990, he and his wife Diane moved to Texas where he was integral in the formation of a new health care division for his employer at that time. He is currently CEO of The KMP Group of companies. A Reagan conservative, he experienced first hand that the liberal power and political structure of the northeast was the underpinnings for the continuous economic slide of the region. Having lived through the “Massachusetts Miracle” of then Governor Michael Dukakis, he vowed to fight for integrity and honesty in politics at all levels. He is active at the grass roots level and works with new candidates and conservative incumbents to help them understand the process of getting elected and formulate platforms consistent with the conservative agenda. His political philosophy is to NEVER give money to the Republican Party machine, but instead to contribute directly to candidates and political causes that help conservative candidates and hold elected officials accountable for their votes and positions. Formal education includes a Bachelors of Science from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. He and his wife of 25 years, Diane, have lived in Burleson for the past 20 years. They have been blessed with a daughter Shannon who is a senior at Burleson High School and very much a conservative. Keith has been a passionate supporter of our tea party movement and his dedication is greatly appreciated. For many of our tea party events, Keith has provided his "Freedom Trailer" that has become synonomous with the Texas Patriots Tea Party and for this we thank him.

Bill is a native Texan - born in Ft. Worth and has lived in this area most of his life. He is a graduate of UTA and TCU and made his career in the field of telecommunications. His political awareness began with the 1976 primaries when Gov. Ronald Reagan first ran for president. In this election, Bill became a Republican Precinct Chairman and has been involved since then in political matters. The emergence of the Tea Parties and the 912 Project groups has opened new avenues in which to participate and work for better government. Bill’s goals are to work toward conservative/libertarian goals and help elect local, state and federal candidates that hold those views. Bill was appointed to the Board of Diretors in January 2012.
Ruth is a proud native Texan born during WWII to God loving parents who
reared seven children. She was taught to work hard, cherish our freedom
as a gift, make necessary sacrifices and most of all love one another
as Christ loved us. After graduation from high school, Ruth moved to
Fort Worth. In June of 1962 and married the love of her life, Will, who
shares her same goals and beliefs. Ruth and Will recently celebrated
their 48th wedding anniversary. They have been blessed with two
wonderful daughters who married great guys who gave Ruth and Will six
precious grandchildren ages 10 to 20 years. Spending time with family is
their favorite part-time activity. Second favorite would be traveling
to enjoy all of God’s creation. Ruth has been an office manager,
secretary, realtor, owner of a Christian gift store, co-owner of a real
estate appraisal and real-estate sales business with Will. They have
been active members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth for over
45 years. Ruth always had an interest in politics and got started
volunteering for the Reagan campaign for President as well as other
campaigns. She joined the tea party movement last year and is very
committed to helping turn our great country back to the basic principles
she was founded upon. She asks herself, "Will my grandchildren enjoy
the same opportunities and freedom that I have enjoyed? Will they still
be able to worship as they choose? Will they still see America as the
land of the free and home of the brave?" These are questions she can’t
answer, but she will do everything in her power to make certain they
still live in a free America that acknowledges God as creator of all
things and His son, as our Savior. “Have
I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do
not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you
go.” Joshua 1:9. Ruth was also the Secretary for the TPTP from July 2010 to July 2012.
