William “Dean” Buckley

Dean Buckley is from Decatur, Illinois and lives in Burleson now and is currently
the owner of Dean & Jerry’s Pool Supply on Wilshire Boulevard.
Mr. Buckley has 38 years of experience in the automotive and foundry business.
In his career, Dean has traveled extensively throughout China and even lived
there for almost 8 years. He was Project Manager of the Beijing Jeep Corporation
for two years 1992- 1994 and afterwards the VP of Metals Operations
of the China Automotive Components Corp from 1994-1997. 
More recently, Dean was Deputy General Manager of Operations
for the Shanxi International Castings Co
in Shanxi Province, China from 2001-2002 and last year was a
Foundry Consultant for the Liancheng group in Yanzhou, Shandong Province. 
With this China experience, Dean is uniquely positioned to describe the
stark differences between the Chinese and the American business models.
His talk at our tea party meeting will focus on the fiscal threat China presents to
us and where we must go to prevent an all-out economic war with China.
